The Lucarelli Oboe Master Class was founded in 1996 by renowned oboist Bert Lucarelli as an intensive summer program for his oboe students. Originally held at Music Mountain in Connecticut, and later on Cape Cod, the class became a beloved annual tradition. In 2014, Kristin Leitterman continued Lucarelli's legacy, joined by Charles Huang on faculty. The week long class offers an immersive experience in solo performance, oboe fundamentals, and reed making, fostering a close-knit community where students and faculty learn, perform and create together. Students of all ages are welcome to participate from high school, to college, and beyond to teachers and adult amateurs.
